2. ANTHONY CURTIS - with TONY LEVIN on bass (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel)
3. SEAN - 3 tracks including a Naked City cover! SEAN is a two piece Piano run through Guitar ampflication and Drums. Mike Peterson also plays drums with THE ACCUSED.
4. THE ABODOX - This is a reworking of a song from their first record recorded funky monkey style.
The record ends with a lock groove performed by Terry Bozzio.

Im pleased to announce that the next two Ladies Choice RECORDS releases have begun final production-The record will be a 12" vinyl -played at 45 speed called LADIES CHOICE RECORDS Vs. VENETO WEST RECORDS featuring RONAN CHRIS MURPHY, ANTHONY CURTIS, SEAN, and THE ABODOX-with guest appearances by Tony Levin(Chapman stick) and Terry Bozzio (Drums).How baddass is that! Art has been created by the world famous Jesse Ledoux (SHINS CD art grammy nominee) and it is really cool-First pressing is limited to 500 -cover screenprinted at Patent Pending Press It will be availbale in a couple months through www.ladieschoicerecords.com and and various stores.
The PIPSQUEAK "BABYDOLL" Cd will be out soon and it sounds sooo great after Mastering-Im really excited about getting to work with Jerome and release his CD Babydoll -He is an amazing talented guy. We will have a CD release party and a record/CD release show for both releases. PIPSQUEAKS first CD UnHappy Hour was in the Seattle magazine THE STRANGER "NW Northwest Top 20 Bestsellers at local music stores for the week of Dec 26 2003 at #16 and the week of Nov 21 2003 at # 20. Jerome also fronts the Seattle band SNUGGLE(featuring members of SKARP-Alternative Tentacles Records).
We plan to start running a distro with mail order advertising in MAXIMUMROCKNROLL Magazine coupling with another Label in seattle-HECTOR/STENTOR RECORDS and a few choice Seattle bands to fatten our mailorder offerings! We will offer wholesale prices to any interested Distributors or Music Stores.
There is a big Ladies Choice Ad in the New BIG TAKEOVER MAGAZINE-near the back-It will make you laugh if you read it. SEAN is going on tour and has really great shows booked through JULY-Im flying to San Franciso to see them play at THE HEMLOCK April 8th with SUBARACHNOID SPACE and another band featuring the drummer from THE FUCKING CHAMPS.-I'll be the guy wearing the red "TION" shirt.SEAN will also perforn live on the radio earlier that day at 4pm-Los altos hills, CA.-SEAN- at KFJC 89.7 FM @ 4pm.
I'm also in the works of releasing a DVD filmed in Seattle at REBAR for the REBAR BAND BATTLE 2 -which featured SEAN, GIRTH, and TUNDRA -with suprise special guests.-3 bands plus others set up in a cirle and took turns playing songs continuosly for close to 3 hours. Very intense Grind! This will be edited down to highlight the best recorded moments of the battle-with some brief commentary and band info-It will be available by mailorder and at THE ELECTRIC HEAVYLAND .
Also sometime later this year we will be releasing a very limited run of CDS for a new Cd by SCARY BEAR-sure to really awesome! Featuring Luke Laplante from SEAN-playing Drums instead of Keyboards and Zu from The WIVES (CBGB Records LTD.)

SEAN is setting up a fabulous lineup of Tour dates for 2006 -Playing with really awesome bands in every city! We will release the WEST COAST dates shortly for APRIL 2006 and the EAST COAST shows in August. I will be flying in from Seattle to the L.A. show and to the N.Y. show and a couple other east coast shows-probably D.C. and Richmond,VA.-see ya there

So yea lots in the works-SEAN played a sold out show at THE FUNHOUSE with KINSKI and GREEN MILK FROM THE PLANET ORANGE(Japan).please check the calander for all the shows we are currently involved with-LADIES CHOICE RECORDS will be releasing a SEAN split 7" vinyl in jan/feb 2006 with VENETO WEST Recording Artist Anthony Curtis featuring TONY LEVIN on BASS.TONY LEVIN is the worlds most famous Bass Guitar player. He is in KING CRIMSON,and played Bass with JOHN JENNON, PETER GABRIEL,MICHAEL JACKSON-to name a few. We will only press 500 copies.Also LADIES CHOICE PRODUCTIONS will be producing our first show at the awesome NEUMOS club on Capitol Hill -It looks like Thurs dec 1st-We will have a five band lineup(T.B.A.) all playing 25 min. sets. please attend and support us so we can continue to bring you awesome low cover Seattle shows for the bands you like at a venue you like to go to. Also next year we will be releasing CDs -SEAN 2 ,and SLIGHTLY LESS THAN NOTHING and hopefully a split 7" featuuring PLAYING ENEMY as well as a PIPSQUEAK release.

For a band not to get beat up with a name like that, you know they got to be the good kind of a "Boy Named Sue"-type thing. Even before seeing the picture of the burly and bearded dude behind drums,though,you know they got nothing to worry about cuz this bizarre two-piece riips in all the best ways.The real x-factor kicker about SEAN though-far more than the name(which gets explained on their website)--is that all sounds contained herein are made with just drums and keyboards, the most blown out,distorted,,noise-ridden keyboards ever. As the album title suggests,this is instrumental,schizophrenic, million-changes-a-minute,drain -bamaged,prog-grind insanity and a definite must for fans of LANA DAGALES,YETI,TARANTULA HAWK,ZOMBI,RUINS, and of course,YES.

SEAN LIFE OF THE GRINDCORE LOVER - August 4, 2005
Ytossie and Sean:
Ytossie saw who her date would be she told us, "Sean caught my eye tremendously tall, good-looking, light color eyes, dark hair is what I like." Sean said “She seemed like an independent woman. I thought that we'd definitely bond. She's a massage therapist and I'm a massage therapist.” That was about the only good thing said about this date. Sean went on and on about his friends how his mom was also a massage therapist. . Ytossie seems to feign polite interest at first, but soon looks completely away from him studying the side of the road while Sean looks straight ahead, still talking. At one point she got rude moved her fingers up and down at Sean and said, "Blah, blah, blah" while he was talking. He did not get the hint ! She told us "I don't want to say an intelligent conversation, but I love intelligent men. I'm a big kidder but he talked a lot and the things that he said didn't interest me at all." At the Xunantunich Maya Ruins where we can see Ytossie sitting and twirling her hair looking bored. Sean puts on a goofy smile and says, "There's free shirts over there." and proceeds to walk to a rack of garish shirts, pulling out one and struggling to get it over his head without unbuttoning it. and then complained that Ytossie had failed his test by not helping him dress. Looking back at the date Ytossie had this to say Conversation with Sean irritated the heck out of me. Sorry to say, he was a pretty package and a pretty package he should have stayed. I shouldn't have opened the package.

Luke Plays on SKARP CD! - June 21, 2005
The Piano playing of Ladies Choice Records artist Luke Laplante of the Seattle Grindcore band SEAN will be featured on the soon to be released SKARP CD just recorded in San Diego for ALTERNATIVE TENTACLE RECORDS. SKARP has been playing live in Seattle for over 5 years and they rule!Some of Lukes playing is used as an intro!

So here begins the grand expirement-Can we sell records for bands Adam and I believe are really great here in Seattle-We intend to try very hard. Our first CD release is for the local grindcore two piece SEAN (drums and Piano-run through a Marshall Guitar Amp.) They will be on tour in June and Play very often here in Seattle-check out the calander page for shows they play. The SEAN CD -entitled "SINGERS RUN PERFECTLY GOOD BANDS" will be for sale at shows, in local record stores, and online through CD Baby distribution! they will ship a copy anywhere in the world!
